Happy Valentine's day to all!
First off, please remember to get all your regular homework stuff ready for tomorrow. There are no excuses! This means that for Wednesday you should: 1. Have your agendas signed, indicating you have read for 100 minutes 2. Be ready to take your spelling quiz (words are on the blog if you forgot anything) 3. Be ready for your math quiz! Here's another question from the quiz: 67 / 8 (the slash symbol is "divided" - I can't find it on my keyboard!) 4. We will celebrate Valentine's day tomorrow. Celebrations will be small! We have work to do! If you would like, you are welcome to bring in a treat. As always, please be aware that we have severe nut allergies in the classroom. 5. We are reading in English this week! I will still expect 100 minutes by next Monday, so if you are able to I suggest starting today!

Whoops! Madame has not been on the ball when it comes to the blog! Two of my posts didn't go through. Because of this, our math quiz will be on Tuesday (storm or no storm). Here are not one, but two tough questions from the quiz:

2. Study your new vocabulary words. I'll update the "Vocabulary Words of the Week." 3. No math homework tonight! SKATING TOMORROW! It's for grades 4, 5, and 6 and we leave at 8:45.
