Bonjour tout le monde!
It's been so lovely connecting with some of you over Zoom. Unfortunately we won't be able to use it in the future due to some security concerns, but we will find other ways to connect! Next week, I will be directing the online learning for our class. I'm not yet sure what format that will take, but it will likely involve Google Classroom. Today I asked some of the kids to check their accounts to see if they can access it. This means they first need to sign in to google. Some don't know their new passwords yet. To find out, go to the previous post and click on the link. There is nothing really up on our Google Classroom yet, but that will most probably change. Until them, please keep following the directives for at home learning on the PSB site.

Looking forward to seeing some of you today on our Zoom meet up with Bethany! Don't forget - it's at 11:00, and if you want to join send me an email or a message and I'll forward you the link.
I hope to see everyone at the class Zoom meetup tomorrow! I'll let more of you talk to each other and hang out this time. I've already sent the code out for that one, so if you have not received it let me know and I'll send the link. Parents and guardians: A few updates. Teachers have been receiving daily emails from Parker Grimmer that update us on what's going on. For now, please keep following the directives from the PSB site. Starting next Monday, I will be taking over our class lessons. I am not sure yet what that will look like, but we will likely be using Google Classroom. If your child does not remember their sign in information, please go to the following link: forms.gle/7WUTPKKZjyPimwg49 You click on the link, fill in the information, and a member of the PSB will contact you with the information. Also, SAS should be up and running soon, which means it will be easier for me to send out mass emails to everyone. For now, you can still contact me at either of these addresses: [email protected] or [email protected] We have two Zoom meetings set up!
The first one is Monday, March 30 at 11 am. This is a smaller one, and Bethany will be there! I won't sign everyone up for this one - just those who would like to connect with Bethany. Please let me know in the comments or by email if you would like to be in this meeting. The second one will be Tuesday, March 31. This is one everyone is invited to! I'll send the code along soon. Remember, all you have to do is click on the link when it's time for the meeting. You don't need to download anything. For security reasons, I won't post the codes here. We want to make sure it's just us at the meeting. Can't wait to see you all next week! Bonjour tout le monde,
It was so wonderful seeing some of you the other day at our Zoom session. The next one will be on Monday - I'll send out the email with the details soon! I'm sure many of you heard that school will not resume until at least May 11. Please keep checking here, but also refer to the PSB link for work you can be doing in the meantime. An email was sent out to all parents detailing how to access your google accounts. In somewhat good news, SAS should be up and running soon, so I'll be able to send out better mass emails. If you know of anyone who may be out of the loop, please let me or them know! Staying connected is so important at this time. I miss you all, and hope you're all safe and sound! Love, Mme. Gallé Bonjour tout le monde,
I'm looking forward to seeing you all on Zoom tomorrow! Thank you for all your messages and emails. My access to my email account has not been great. I can still get on, but it's not always reliable. You can still email me at that account, but a more definite one is: [email protected]. A lot have been asking me about prodigy accounts. Remember, you have to log in to google first, then use the "log in with google" option on the prodigy sign in page. For those who were out the last day of school before the break, I haven't set up your accounts yet, but that's my project for today. For those who have been able to get into their accounts, could you share some tips below? Hello parents, guardians, and most of all, students! As some of you may know, the home learning resources have been posted on the PSB site. Here's a link for those who can't find it: Home Learning Resources Right now we're encouraged to just use that, but please keep an eye on the blog!
I know many of you must miss seeing your friends at school. I am hoping to set up a Zoom session for this week, and I'd like to know roughly how many would be able to "come." For those who don't know, Zoom is a video conferencing app. I would send you the link, and at the designated time you'd click on it. We'd all be able to see each other and chat. I could also be available to parents afterwards if they'd like to ask any questions. I know that I miss you all terribly, and I'm dying to hear how Mostafa's trip to Egypt was. I was thinking of this Wednesday at 11 am, and I would send the link to your parent's emails (for security reasons). If you are able to come please comment below! En français ou en anglais! Bonjour tout le monde!
I miss you all and hope you are home safe from your journeys. Starting next week, I'll be posting here. Right now I'm waiting for direction from the school board, put please check here often. I have more regular access to my email now ([email protected]), and will be checking frequently starting next week. We will get through this! Madame. Bonjour tout le monde!
