Please check out the "Upcoming Events" section. There's a lot going on this week, and it's all there! French This week, we are free writing in French. We will be working on identifying pronouns. Here's a page with info on it, including some activities at the end: Les pronoms English We are also free writing in English! This week, we will be learning how to capitalize in English. We are using the "MINTS" strategy: capitalizemytitle.com/capitalize-titles-with-the-mint-acronym/ Maths In maths, we are comparing fractions! In grade 4, students need to be able to compare fractions with either like numerators or like denominators. All the sickness going around has finally caught up to me, so M. von Cheff will be in for me. I hope everyone has a wonderful day, and I hope all who were sick are feeling healthy again! French This week, we will be looking at how to pluralize nouns and adjectives. We will also be looking at new vocabulary words. Please check "vocabulary words of the week" to see them. In writing, we will be continuing our free write. As we go through reader's workshop, students will have the opportunity to switch out their old books if they need to. English We will probably finish Varjak Paw this week.
