As always, we are reading for 100 minutes this week. Instead of an evaluation for our latest math unit, we will be working on a project instead of doing a quiz. We will have two days to work on it, but if a student isn't able to finish it at school by Wednesday they will need to take it home to complete.
Tuesday - math project (math book pages 30 and 31) Wednesday - project (pages 30 and 31) Thursday - review in math (no homework) Friday - review in math (no homework) Hope everyone had a restful Mother's Day weekend! A pink form went home to youngest and only regarding the upcoming pancake breakfast. Please check your child's homework bag for a copy.
As always, we are reading for 100 minutes at home. Students should record their reading in their green duo-tangs. Any work not completed in class should be finished at home. Math work for the week: Monday - pages 6 and 7 Tuesday - classwork (no work to take home) Wednesday - pages 8 and 9 Thursday - pages 10 and 11 Friday - classwork (no work to take home) Out pancake breakfast will be on Saturday, May 24 from 8-10:30 am. Hello all! As always, a sheet is in your green duo-tang that is outlining our homework for this week and next. Please remember to record your reading. Here is our homework and special dates for the week:
Monday - no math homework today! Tuesday - pages 2 and 3 of your math book. ALSO - Book fair today! There are some great deals. Here's a link with more details: https://sherwoodschoollib.blogspot.com/ On Monday we will have a short quiz on time and IS dates. Here's the toughest question from the quiz:
Alain commence son devoir à 7 h 15 du soir et le termine à 7 h 50 du soir. Natalie commence son devoir à 6 h 50 du soir et le termine à 7 h 10 du soir. Qui met le plus de temps à faire son devoir? Comment le sais-tu? Combien de travail lui faut-il de plus? Montre ton travail. This is a tough question! Feel free to post an answer in the comments. |
