A reminder that our ecosystem project is due on Monday! Please remember our success criteria:
1. It must include at least seven living things 2. Each living thing must be named 3. There are arrows indicating who eats what 4. It looks good: there are lots of colours, there are drawings, there are details, it's filled up, and it's neat. Here's a question from the quiz tomorrow. Feel free to work on it!
2036 - 1247 We are continuing our work on subtraction. This Friday there will be a small evaluation to check the students' progress. If you have not already done so, please check and sign your child's math quiz that was sent home on Friday.
Some students are beginning to take home French books for guided reading. These books count towards their 100 minutes of reading each week. Some students may need to take home their math work this week, as we have a lot to cover! Hello everyone!
There is potentially a lot of homework to bring home tonight. Some students are catching up from this weekend. Here are the details: - pages 30 and 31 of the math workbook (most of the class has finished this, but some are still behind) - both sides of the math worksheet we started today. It seems like a lot (considering that we usually don't take home any math), but the students were provided with the chance to finish it at school. Hello everyone!
The students are getting better and better at remembering to record their homework and read 100 minutes by each Monday. Some are still forgetting, so a little reminder at home might be helpful for them. We will be starting guided reading soon, so some students may be coming home with specific books to read and practice. A reminder that Tuesday is picture day, and that there is no school on Friday. Have a great week! |
