Happy last week before the holidays! There are a lot of things going on this week.
1. Tomorrow will be the last day for candy grams. Each candy gram costs 1$, and the proceeds go to Christmas families. 2. On Thursday, Mrs. Murphy's grade 6 class will be having a bake sale. All items are 75 cents. 3. Friday is our skate day! If you have not signed the permission form, please sign it before Friday. I haven't gotten the schedule yet, but as soon as I do I'll post it here. As always, parents and guardians are welcome to come and help tie skates. We're almost to the holidays! Don't forget to read your "contes" at home this week. Here's a summary of what we'll be up to in math:
Monday - pages 100 and 101 of the math book (subtraction of decimals) Tuesday - math groups (no math homework) Wednesday - pages 102 and 103 Thursday - Review Friday - Review A few things to keep in mind for this week: - Don't forget to read for 100 minutes this week. Some of this reading should include your "contes." As the week goes on you will all be getting specific "roles" to study. - The grade 5 class will be selling candy grams. They are 1$ each - On Friday we will be having a "Fun Day." Students can dress up, and for the last hour we will be doing art activities. |
