There are lots of events going on this week! On Monday, we are wearing green, white, and red. On Tuesday, we are in Christmas head gear. On Wednesday, we will be getting our candy grams, and we will be wearing our school colours. On Thursday, we will be wearing our Christmas socks and ties. Friday is another pajama day, along with our school skate!
French We will finish up our paragraph this week, and keep working on conjugating verbs. We don't have any vocabulary words this week. Here's some info plus a practice activity: www.francaisfacile.com/exercices/exercice-francais-2/exercice-francais-71089.php English We will continue reading Varjak Paw this week. Also, I am strongly encouraging students to bring in some great books, as we will have lots of silent reading time. Math We are taking it pretty easy this week, but the biggest thing is that we will have a math quiz on Wednesday! This quiz will cover fractions and decimals, and we will cover the following topics: representing fractions, converting fractions to decimals and decimals to fractions, fractions of a set, and comparing fractions with like numerators or like denominators. Fractions of a set seem to cause the most issues, so here's a quick guide: ca.ixl.com/math/lessons/fractions-of-a-set
