I hope everyone had a restful March break. I will be out for most of this week (until Thursday). COVID has struck my household and we are all recovering. I hope everyone has stayed healthy during this time. Jenna-Marie will still be in class, and I know that she will do a great job with you all! French We are continuing to work on our opinion letters about our favourite books. To work at home, students can continue reading some great books. I won't assign books this week, so students are encouraged to pick out some great French books from our library. English We will be doing sessions 3 and 4 of our book clubs this week. Students should think about bringing their books home to read ahead (especially those of you who are working on Chocolate River Rescue). We are also continuing to work on our opinions letters about the new school. By the end of this week students should have at least one draft of a letter completed. Maths This week we are learning about one digit time two digit multiplication . Knowing your time tables is very useful, so practicing that at home would help. For those who would like to practice a bit more, here are some great worksheets: Math worksheets Sciences
We are still working on rocks and minerals. Here is a video we will show in class on Tuesday: C'est pas sorcier
