It's Halloween week! There are a lot of fun activities going on, so I thought I'd start with that: On Monday, we are having another pj day! For those who would like to, some students may bring in some "show and tell" items. During the week, there will be a jelly bean guessing game in the music room. There will also be a Halloween colouring contest. As always, students can wear their costumes on Friday. We will have a small Halloween celebration in class. This is less celebratory, but we will be having a lockdown drill on Tuesday. Ok, on to the academic stuff: French: We have three more lessons left for our informational texts. I'd like us to finish our good copies at the beginning of next week. In grammar, we are going to finish adjectives and start on pronouns. Here's an activity to support that: https://www.ccdmd.qc.ca/media/allo_fem_n_067Allophones.pdf English We are still working on our slideshows! We should be finished by this week. Also, it's a word work this week - check Google classroom for your child's words and their slideshows. Math We are working on subtraction this week. Here's a worksheet to practice: https://www.dadsworksheets.com/worksheets/subtraction/sequences-subtraction-hard.html Sciences This week, we are building food webs and studying animal adaptions. Here's a little Youtube video explaining them: Les chaines alimentaires
