A reminder that there will be no school this Friday! French We are working on informational texts in French. Students are welcome to bring some of their texts home to keep working on them if they wish. We are also reading the book, "Quand on était seuls." Here's a video of someone reading it: Quand on était seuls We will also be doing some grammar, and learning how to find a noun in a sentence. Here's an activity to reinforce this: Les noms (explanation) English We are starting our word work! The word lists are available on Google Classroom. Students can practice at home by looking at their words and doing rainbow writing, staircase letters, or a word hunt, where they look in books to find similar words. We are continuing to read "Mystery at Cranberry Farm." Maths This week, we are looking at number lines and how they can help us better understand numbers. We will also start comparing numbers. Here's a great video that explains the importance of food webs in the ecosystem (warning - there is a predation scene at about the 2:50 mark.
